I took my three kids, mother, sister and nephew to visit our Grandmother and we had plenty of room. We booked two rooms with 2 beds each. The staff was very helpful with the exception of Housekeeping. We came from a different timezone and my kids were still sleeping yet the housekeeping staff was right outside our door cutting up, yelling down the hall to each other and laughing very loudly. I even had the Do Not Disturb sign on my door. I finally had to step out and ask them to please be quiet, at which time they took the party elsewhere. the pool is listed as "heated" but it did not seem to be. All my kids were cold and we had to take my nephew out because he was shivering in the water. The restaraunt was decent, but I was disappointed in the selection as well as I price of the rooms. For a Comfort Inn, I thought it was a little pricey but it was right by where I was going so I went ahead and stayed.

I had reservations for this room wks in advance. I initially had 2 rooms reserved for Saturday night. I called the hotel and requested to add Friday night in a non-smoking room, preferably the one I have reserved for Saturday night. I was told no problem. (keep in mind I was coming to town to pick up my sister from the airport - visiting from Oregon, and to attend the Steelers game that Sunday. ) Also keep in mind that by the time I got to the hotel that Friday night, every hotel in Pittsburgh was sold out for Saturday night due to the Steelers playing at Heinz Field. When I got to the hotel Friday night after getting terrible directions from a man that spoke very poor English, I was told I had a room for Friday night, but only one room for Saturday night. Some how, some way, they took one room from me and gave it to someone else. I didn't really need the Friday night room, I needed the 2 rooms for Saturday night. If I couldn't have those 2 rooms, there was no need for me to even be in Pittsburgh for the weekend. I could have just drove up from Johnstown the day of the game. (appx 65-75 miles total one way) The man was very rude and suggested that I did something wrong and caused this. When I spoke to the company that I made the reservations through, they told me that they still had me down for 2 rooms for Saturday night. They faxed the reservation to the hotel directly to prove that I was not lying. Yes, they thought I was lying!!! got a room because someone checked out early. paid full price. submit complaint to company

Room dirty, large cookies behind dresser (visible), bathroom reeked of cigarettes (we kept the vent on constantly so we could breathe), hairs in sheets, staff not nice, old food in fridge, view of giant mud hill...shall I go on?

halls smelled like smoke; non-smoking signs at certain rooms were ripped off the walls; our room smelled like cheap airfreshner obviously covering the smoke smell; woke up with a sinus headache!; there were 2 full size beds and a sleep sofa; no room to move around!
