I stayed here in early August '10. The first room I stayed in was small, the bathroom I stayed at had dead rolly pollies and the wallpaper was peeling. I arrived late but they gave me a handicap accessible room, which as best I gathered only meant that it had no tub, so the shower water seeped onto the bathroom floor. After requesting and getting another room, the bathroom had ants. The front desk agents were all over the place, one was pretty friendly/helpful but the other two were quite indifferent and not very helpful. The continental breakfast is mediocre. Although it is being renovated, the place really iis pretty run down (as others have noted) and the decor is kinda lame (still has a "new paint over shabby old hotel feel) for a hotel of this price/category. The walls are thin. The housekeeping staff did not clean the bathroom (although they made the bed and emptied the trash - to their credit, I guess?). The bed/mattress is hard and the A/C really loud. Also if you do not have a rental car do not stay here. It is a pain to get to the bus stop and it is in the suburbs and not convenient to anything (like restaurants etc...) unless you are at one of the office parks right next door. Only dominoes seems to deliver in the area.

The room was infested with bedbugs! The hotel never returned our phone calls for 8 days, so up to 8 unsuspecting guests could have been attacked, not counting the people before us. Plus the bathroom had no vent, walls and ceiling covered in mold, shower was very slow draining. The hallway smelled . Some of the rooms were missing door handles, so as u walked down the hall u could see in the rooms. Beautiful Hotel, too bad no one cares to take care of it. Only positive was the breakfast in the morning, absolutely amazing! We awoke expecting bagels and instant oj, and walked into a buffet of eggs, pancakes, sausage, bacon and more.
